Each member of the 25-man squad of the Egypt national team for the 2014 World Cup playoffs against Ghana would pocket a little over $43,500 (300,000 EGP) if they achieve the country?s long awaited dream of a World Cup berth? for the first time since 1990,?Footy-ghana.com?has uncovered.

In what looks like a coincidence, Ghana and Egypt officials about the same time approved an incentive scheme for their players last week Tuesday.

While the Ghanaian team through headline sponsors GNPC have been promised a 50% increment in winning bonus for the home game against the Pharaohs on October 15, Egypt?s American manager Bob Bradley?s bonus requests were receiving approval from the board of directors of the Egypt Football Association.

According to our sources, Bradley presented a proposal which included rewards for each individual within the team, whether players or a technical, medical and administrative.

The Egypt 25-man squad would be rewarded a total of $1,088,175 (7.5 million Egyptian pounds) while manager Bob Bradley and assistant Samir Adli get 200% of the value of their monthly salary in addition to 150% for the rest of the coaching staff should the Pharaohs edge the Black Stars for the ticket to Brazil next summer.

The administrative and medical team bonuses range from 50% to 100 % in the case of achieving the awaited dream of Egypt.
