Hon. Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei a member of Ghanaian Parliament and a research fellow of the Centre for Policy Analysis based in Accra will address the maiden International Economic Forum on Ghana in UK in March this year as part of the Ghana?s 58th Independent celebrations.

Dr Osei who is an expert on economic management and budgeting and the minority spokesperson on Finance and Economic Planning in the Ghanaian parliament will be speaking on the topic ?Transforming Ghana?s economy to secure the future.? He was also recently nominated among the first 100 influential persons in Ghana and was a deputy minister of finance under the previous NPP government.
The forum will take place in London from the 15th to 18th March at the Northumberland Community College Conference Centre in North London.
The programme is being organised by CENAB UK – an affiliate of a worldwide CENAB Advocacy group, which is a broad coalition of patriots, friends, sympathisers, political admirers and people who believe that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr Mahamadu Bawumia’s leadership will be the best to project Ghana into prosperity through development, embedded in freedom. The programme is being sponsored by a number of Ghanaian businesses and affiliates.

The theme for the forum is ?Transforming our Economy and Building to Last for Generations.? The conference will be opened by the topic ?A Look into Ghana?s Economic Forecast? to be delivered by Ms. Manji Cheto, an experienced risk analyst on the political economy of sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), focused primarily on West Africa. Prior to joining Teneo she worked at several SSA-focused consulting firms such as Africa Practice, Oxford Analytica, and Africa Matters Limited (AML), advising corporate and financial services businesses in managing political and policy risks associated with their investments in Sub-South Africa. She has also worked closely with several African governments, helping to raise the profile of investment opportunities in their respective countries in order to boost the countries? FDI inflows.

Also billed to speak at the forum is Dr Akwasi Acheampong who is President CENAB USA – the advocacy group which believes that, Nana Addo and Bawumia Presidency is now every Ghanaian’s hope coming with excellence.
