Distance Learning centre centre stopped from admitting new in-takes

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Professor Michael Adikwu, Monday said the university has put in place arrangements to strengthen the capacity of the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education lecturers and facilitators.

Adikwu spoke in Abuja Monday at the commencement of a five-day training workshop organised for the e-tutors and facilitators of  the institution?s CDL and Continuing Education.

Earlier, the Director, Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education of the university, Professor Siyan Peter, noted that the centre was stopped from admitting new in-takes last year owing to lack of accreditation of some courses.
