The rehabilitated Dawhenya Irrigation Project has been completed and handed over to the government of Ghana by the Korean government.
After 10 months of rehabilitation, the $3.6 million project is expected to increase and boost agricultural production in the area to ensure food security in the country.
The project was implemented under the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The project is also expected to raise the standard of living of the people of Dawhenya and its surrounding towns and villages with the construction of schools, teachers? bungalows as well as fish pond.
