Mr. Amoah reminded the headteachers to see themselves as captains, coaches, mentors, supervisors and managers of their schools, and strive to give of their best.
He appealed to government to support headteachers to update their knowledge and competencies on new trends in areas like management, accounting, statistics, guidance and counselling and ICT so that they can remain powerful and relevant to the changing demands of society.
