CLOGSAG threatens strike

Government usually pays salaries of workers early in December.

The move is to ensure that workers have enough money to celebrate Christmas. Last year, the late President Mills ordered the Accountant-General to pay workers in the middle of the month.

But such a directive is yet to be given by President Mahama. Northern Regional Secretary of GLOGSAG, Ali Anaafu, says workers are expectant of early salary this month.

Mr. Ali Anaafu says they are hopeful that the Accountant General will meet their expectations.
