Former Inter Milan forward Christian Vieri has arrived in Ghana to support the ?Charity for Hope Project,? an initiative by Sulley Muntari?s wife Menaye.

The AC Milan star?s wife invited the ex-Italy striker following a fund-raising initiative in Italy for the charitable project to support under-priviledged kids in the country.

Vieri, one-time world?s most expensive footballer, said, ?I was touched by the Menaye?s effort at bringing hope to the less privileged in the country, hence my visit.?

He indicated that his presence could make a huge impact in Menaye?s charity campaign, having witnessed the successful charity Dinner in Italy a few weeks ago.

?I am really excited to be associated with this charity project and looking forward to meeting the kids of the School of Hope.

?Education as you are aware is very important, and I hope to encourage them to take it seriously after my visit.?

The School of Hope is a charity project by Menaye, wife of AC Milan star Sulley Muntari intended to help provide quality education to the underprivileged in the Central Region.

It also seeks, among other things, to improve the lives of those in the region.

The project has positively affected the lives of over 500 children by way of education so far.

Menaye praised the icon highly for availing himself to support her and to serve as inspiration to the kids considering their humble beginnings.
