Chelsea Whips Sunderland, Lifts EPL Trophy

Three goals from strikers Diego Costa and Loic Remy ensured that Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea ended their 2014/2015 Premier League in style as they strewed Sunderland by 3-1 at the Stamford Bridge.
Haven’t set the mood alive prior to the match as the champions many were those who thought Chelsea were going to handle issues lightly, but Jose Mourinho and his Blue army had different ideas as they came from a goal down to wrestle a deserving win for their vociferous supporters.
ChampsScottish international Steven Fletcher gave the visitors the lead in the 26th minute when he connected home from an Adam Johnson’s cross into the box.
In the 28th minute however, one of the loyal son’s of Mourinho at the Stamford Bridge, Didier Drogba was given a historic treat when he was carried by almost all the Chelsea players to the touch line when his services was redrawn by the manager.
As if that was not enough, the 37-year-old Drogba received a warm standing ovation from the entire bench as Mourinho and his entire staff stood on the touchline to give the Ivorian goal wizard a rousing welcome.
The Ivorian striker is out of contract this summer and signed off his Chelsea career with the match against Sunderland.
In the 36th minute Spanish forward Diego Costa who had replaced Drogba put Chelsea on level from the spot.
Loic Remy’s brace finished Dick Advocaat’s side off as the Champions cruised to victory in style.
