CENAB Repositions To Rally Support For Akufo Addo

With its maiden press release in July 21, 2014, CENAB indicated its intention to position itself as a global political movement in support of Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia, and the NPP. The group showcased its seriousness in its chosen cause when it got launched in a flamboyant style in the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, USA.
In attendance were important personalities within the NPP: Dr. Kwame AmoakoTuffour, Chairman Wontumi, Gabby OtchereDarko, Hon. AdwoaSafo, NanaKwakuAgyei-Yeboah among others. It was a night that re-energized the members and sympathizers of the NPP to further commit themselves to the Nana-Bawumia ticket for victory in 2016. The group?s Coordinator, Dr. AkwasiAchampong laid down CENAB?s broad vision and aspiration to become a launch pad to catapult the Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia ticket through the party?s presidential primaries to the national election in 2016. He said the group was ready to commit its wherewithal in prosecuting this single-minded agenda.

With solidarity messages from the special and invited guests who affirmed the intent and purpose of CENAB, and with a video message from Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia themselves to CENAB at its historic launching, the group felt more energized. The sense of responsibility to work for the common good of NPP became strengthened. The group?s message and launching resonated well across the political sphere in Ghana and the Diaspora. It was then that the group reaffirmed its commitment to globalize CENAB starting with Ghana.

October 24, 2014, brought CENAB-Ghana to life at the Hotel Georgia in Kumasi. The NPP fraternity went agog, as they could not contain their excitement. The gracing of the occasion by Dr. Bawumia, Dr. Kwame AmoakoTuffour, Chairman Wontumi, Kwadwo OwusuAfriyie, aka Sir John, Mr. F.F Anto, Nana Agyei-Yeboah of NPP-USA, among others, gave the launching the prominence and relevance it deserves. The euphoria, and charged atmosphere that characterized the launching sent a strong message to all and sundry that CENAB has come to stay, and its ready to put its shoulders to the wheel to get the NPP to power.

The message from Kumasi was poignant! The group reiterated its commitment to widen its membership base across the globe, to increase its support base for its common cause. Again, members said they are poised to offer Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia, and the NPP a pool of diverse intellectual resources, which could be tapped into in different ways to oil the NPP machine towards election 2016. CENAB however stated that its doors are wide open to receive ideas and suggestions that will strengthen its programs and advance its objectives. The group did indicate that CENAB-Ghana would not be the last of its affiliates. It hinted that it looks forward to being adopted in Europe and elsewhere.

As gathered from the Kumasi launching, CENAB will soon be rolling out its programs that will further boost the fortunes of the Nana ? Bawumia ticket in 2016. And it calls on all to join forces with them when the time comes!
As of now, M.D. Moro, the Ghana national coordinator is setting up CENAB in the regions. In the meantime, CENAB UK has also been established and will soon be inaugurated.

This coalition is committed to marshalling its wherewithal in total support of the Nana Addo ? Bawumia ticket in the gradually approaching 2016 elections. CENAB believes that Nana AddoDankwaAkufo-Addo and Dr. MahamuduBawumia are the safest pair of hands to save Ghana from its socio-economic woes under the current corrupt and incompetent leadership of John Mahama and his NDC.
