It was the visiting side, Unisport that carried the day with a 1-0 victory over their host. It was on Sunday that other matches counting for the first day of played took place.

Current leaders, Coton Sport of Garoua were held on a 1-1 tie by newly promoted Bamboutos of Mbouda, in Mbouda.
