Berekum Chelsea will welcome the challenge posed by Africa Champions League opponents, Zamalek in the CAF Champions League and hope their fairytale run in the competition will continue when the two sides clash on Saturday at the Accra Sport Stadium.

The dethroned Premier League Champions and successive President Cup winners have already eliminated Raja Casablanca and Coton Sport Garoua in the lead up to the group stage.

Though there were earlier reports that some of their top stars carried injuries and so might miss the game, the club received a boost on Wednesday when trio, captain Abdul Basit, Solomon Asante and Richard Kissi Boateng trained with the squad.

Defender Eric Agyemang will however miss the game on Saturday due to suspension.

Zamalek arrived in the country on Thursday and held their first training at the Legon Presec Park.

The Egyptian side will play without Ahmed Hassan, Salah Soliman and Razak Omotoyosi  who are all suspended for the game.

Though the Berekum Chelsea would have preferred to play the game at their much fancied Golden City Park, the match has been moved to Accra after CAF banned the team from using the Park for logistical reasons.

Head coach, Johannes Van der Pluijm has mentioned that his team is looking forward to the game in high spirits after beating Kotoko in the President Cup on Sunday.

Though he expects a tough game against the Egyptian side, he remains optimistic that the Ghanaian side will emerge victorious.

Elsewhere group rivals, Al Ahly, will welcome Dr.Congo side TP Mazembe to Cairo hoping to get all three points from the 2010 Champions.

TP Mazembe it will be recalled were winners of this competition in 2009 and 2010, but were disqualified in 2011 for fielding an ineligible player.
