Becca2Quite synonymous to shared stories of many great creative arts professionals in Ghana, Ghanaian singer Becca is no exception especially when the creative arts has been tagged a venture for ?non serious minded people? in the Ghanaian society.

The songstress who took time to delve into her life and shared some of the unknown about herself disclosed in an interview on the Kapital Entertainment Unplugged Show in Kumasi that circumstances around her musical exploits were all miraculous as until her meeting with EKB record label CEO Kiki Banson, had never done music.

Actually, at the time I met Kiki, I had not even done music before. Although during my childhood I used to sing with my brother and sister and all that. I wanted to be a professional singer but my dad wanted me to be a lawyer. Definitely, there were challenges but successfully, I overcame them and took the chance when it presented itself.

She however admitted there used to be challenges especially as a female musician but believed circumstances have changed now as the female musicians are a force to reckon with. Citing her ?Girls Concert? as an example, she believed it was a clear sign of how determined the female artists were poised to take their rightful position and insisted she?s never regretted doing music.
