Australian High Commissioner Gets Music Therapy

As part of Guitarmonk’s program toward music appreciation, the idea of offering Raga Therapy Music to conceptual and good food restaurants in Delhi, NCR is now being in progress. Through the initiative of?Guitarmonk?s?Kapil?Srivastava?and DiGhent’s Mr. Balwinder Singh, food and music patrons may now enjoy a fusion of gastronomic and music delight as peaceful meditative and live acoustic raga performances will now be served at one of the finest European cafe in India, the DiGhent Cafe in Crosspoint Mall, Gurgaon. A therapeutic music album gallery, live raga performances, special music themes for relaxation and souvenir gifts will be available on the site for the customers’ musical journey and enjoyment.

This desire?has finally materialized as they?delivered?an outstanding performance?together?during the soft launch of one of the finest European cafe?in India, the Di-Ghent?Cafe in Crosspoint Mall,?Gurgaon. The esteemed?guests include the honorable Australian High Commissioner?Mr. Bernard Philip?who was enthralled at the first hand experience of Indian Raga music.

Kapil Srivastava, performed?Raga Ahir Bhairav?on guitar, as Ravi Kiran plays the Ghatam, a hardcore Indian instrument.

The audience were all ears and delighted with the unique Alaap and Ragic rendition on Spanish guitar by Kapil and gave an enthusiastic round of applause soon after.
