wpid-asiedunketia.jpgGeneral Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has descended heavily on renowned legal practitioner, Sam Okudjeto, accusing him of exhibiting traits which tend to suggest that he has a flagging conscience or he is simply ?deaf and blind?.

Asiedu Nketia?s blistering attack on Lawyer Okudjeto follows remarks by the legal luminary that the NDC General Secretary has unbridled tendency of ?running dangerous commentary? about proceedings that usually occur during Supreme Court sittings on the election petition suit filed by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Lawyer Okudjeto explained that if the ?dangerous commentary? by Mr Asiedu Nketia is not curbed, a potential danger awaits the nation.

But in a sharp rebuttal, the NDC General Secretary, known for his bluntness and sometimes caustic remarks, wondered in an interview on Okay FM whether Lawyer Okudjeto is ?deaf and blind? to some comments that threaten the security of the state made by members of the multi-party group, ?Let My Vote Count Alliance?.

He urged him to focus his energy on taming members in his party aligned with the ?Let My Vote Count? group, accusing them of behaving as if Ghana was purposely created for no one but them.

?If my brother, Okudjeto?s ears and eyes were properly working, I think he would have launched his attack on the ?Let My Vote Count? movement after keenly following how they operate?I don?t know if he was in this country when his own party members organized a full press conference after they had submitted their petition to the Supreme Court?.After they had submitted it, they started calling NDC members ?stealers??I wonder if he has any conscience at all,? he added.
