By Akyereko Frimpong Manson

Youth Ghanaian international Freda Ayisi scored one of the goals for Arsenal Ladies in their 7-1 drubbing of Kazkh side Kairat in the Women?s Champions League on Wednesday night.

The 18-year-old attacker, born in England, climbed off the bench in the 82nd minute and registered the 7th goal for the Gunners three minutes later, connecting home from inside of the area with a top-class finish.

Ghanaian-born English international Raphael Yankey had earlier gotten on the score-sheet with a strike in the 51st minute as the Londoners cruised to secure their place in the last 16 of the competition.

Uncapped by England, Ghana?s football authorities can make a swift move to contact the gifted forward to feature for any of the Ghanaian female sides.

She could be a vital addition to the Ghana U20 squad for their upcoming tournaments and she is one of the few Ghanaian few females plying their trades abroad.

Spain-based midfielder Rose Mensah is another highly-rated player.
