The Asokwa Divisional Police Command is investigating a robbery incident that occurred between Twedie and Foase in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region last Tuesday.

So far no arrest has been made.

It was reported that at around 7.25pm last Tuesday, road users who found themselves on the Kumasi-Twedie road were subjected to armed robbery

attacks.

Drivers and passengers were robbed of their personal belongings said to run into thousands of Ghana cedis.

Among the victims were the Bantama District Pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist church, Felix Nimako Boansi and Associate Church Pastor of Bantama SDA, Moses Abankwa Ntiamoah who were from Kumasi heading towards Trabuom to grace the 2014 Annual Youth Camp of the Bantama District of SDA.

While Pastor Nimako Boansi in the company of his two sons were ordered to surrender their belongings at gun point, Pastor Abankwa Ntiamoah for the fear of losing his life had to leave personal belongings behind and run from his vehicle to take cover in the bush.

The pastors who narrated their ordeal to the Daily Graphic said it was a ?do or die affair? that fateful Tuesday night.

Pastor Boansi said he and his children surrendered to the robbers but were lucky that the robbers accepted the only cash on them which was GH?150.00.

Pastor Abankwa who ran into the bush left his tablet and two mobile phones in his vehicle.

Before police could come to the robbery scene, belongings of a number of the robbery victims had been made away with.
