?Although our challenges are great, each of us should have the courage and determination to rise up and help resolve them with our best efforts,? he stated. ?We must not despair but rather look into the future with the knowledge that brighter days are ahead?.

Apostle Amoani was addressing the 58th Session of the Ministerial and General Council Meeting of the Church, in Ho, on the theme: ?Impacting Our World through a Transformed Life?.

He noted that the power crisis was taking a toll on the fortunes of both small-scale and industrial business activities, with the attendant poor delivery of goods and services, but said with the concerted efforts of the citizenry and faith in God no challenge could remain unsurmountable.

?We must. also as a nation, pursue righteousness and the fear of God in all our endeavours, for it is written, Righteousness exalts a nation??.
?God centeredness must always be upheld as the foundation to all values of the nation, leaders should be committed to high moral and ethical standards, selflessness, and be visionary and resilient to enable Ghana to build sound national policies for Health, Education, Agriculture and Defence, irrespective of the political ideology of the party in power.?.

On the role of the Church, Apostle Amoani said the Church, with Christians, should not conform to ungodly status quo, or the patterns of the world to make an impact in nation building.

?Just as salt is different from pepper, and light is distinct from darkness, so is the Church distinct from the world, hence our lifestyles, conviction, and commitment to everything must be distinct and so unique,? he said.

He, therefore, advised Christians to transform their lives to set the standards for godly living.
