Apga Chairman Describes His Suspension As Laughable
The acting state chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA), Chief Shedrack Anakwue has described his purported suspension from the party as “laughable and childish antics of leftist sinking desperate politicians”. He confirmed that a petition on the confusion by the sponsors and authors of the publication has already been forwarded to the security agencies including the Police and the DSS, in the state for necessary action.

His exco had in an emergency meeting early yesterday before boarding their flight to Abuja for the party’s National Executive Committee(NEC)meeting kicking off in Abuja?tomorrow, Anakwue urged members of the public especially members of APGA to disregard the statement in its entirety.

He pointed out that Dr Chukwuma Okoye, Dr Chris Anagor and Mr C.C. Madukaife and majority of those who attended the kangaroo stakeholders’ meeting where the announcement against him was made were non-members or card-carrying members of APGA.
Describing Anagor as the coordinator of Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, Labour Party(LP) in the Nov 16,2013 governorship election and just attended a meeting of LP coordinators at Ukwulu two weeks ago to render account of how he spent the funds given to him by the flagbearer.
Okoye and Madukaife have only been linked to APGA for the first time by this ignoble meeting of strange bedfellows of would-be APGA members.
The Anakwue’s exco therefore urged the citizens and distinguished members of the party to disregard their purported suspension as the announcement was from non members of the party.
The acting chairman also urged Okoye, Anagor and Madukaife and their co-travelers to take things easy as the APGA under his watch and Chief Maxi Okwu is poised to restore the original ideals and aims of the founding fathers. He urged them to purge themselves of their former parties’ antics.
He blame the former national chairman, chief Victor Umeh of embarking on his destabilization project against the party using willing tools and especially non-members.
According to Anakwue the exco would have disregarded the shadow chasing by the group, but had to respond to reassure bonafide members of the party and the unsuspecting members of the public who could be misled or taken in by the misleading publication. He urged members to remain steadfast, adding that the security agencies have already been briefed about the diabolical stunts of the sponsors of the trio.
