He described Onu as detribalised Nigerian, who accommodates everyone in all he does, adding that they decided to join him in the party to continue to contribute his best to the development of the country.

Ogah explained that they had been receiving threat on their decision to join the APC and called on the party to carry them along in the scheme of things.

Receiving the decampees, the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun represented by the South-East zonal Chairman, Emma Enukwu, said he was sent to come and receive the decampees, who joined the party because of Onu to build a united and strong APC in the state.

He likened the APC to a church, with a perfect man of God, which he said was why people from other political parties were trooping into it and commended the decampees for joining the party.

Enukwu called on the decampees to rally round Onu to position the party in the South-east to ensure it emerges victorious in 2019 elections.

?We must come together and rally round our leader in the state, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, to deliver Ebonyi to APC in 2019. APC has come to change Nigeria for good, it is not promising. PDP makes promises; APC keeps promises and will be known for action,? Ekwu said.
