Amazing Grace International School Calls For Support

The management of Amazing Grace International School in the Nankese circuit in the Eastern Region has called on the Ghana Education Service(GES), organizations, financial institutions to support them in constructing a classroom block, since the current classroom room is a wooden structure which does not help teaching and learning, especially during rainy season.

The Proprietress of Amazing Grace International School Mad. Comfort Sumney in an interview with The Moment stressed that they realize that youths in Nankese and the parents as well do not acknowledged the importance of education so she took it upon herself to collect a small amount of school fees for them to get access to school.

According to her the school has acquired a new site and needed support whether in form of loans to develop the school to a standard.

The school was established in 2004 with forty students and two teachers but currently the students? population stands at seventy with seven teachers.

Mad. Comfort made mention of their challenges as school fees payment and feeding fee, explaining that ?GES collects money before delivering learning materials to private schools which has been a worry.?

There is also a problem of inadequate computers and library,. The Proprietress plead with all and sundry to support the school get the needed resources to enhance teaching and learning, appealing to the government to assist them with computers to enhance ICT.

She called on parents to assist the school in diverse ways especially school fess payment.
