Akan MP Promises To Transform Kedjebi

The Member of Parliament for Akan Constituency in the Volta Region Hon. Joseph K. Ofori has vowed to transform Kedjebi within the next two years in office.

Joseph K. Ofori?He has been applauded by some residents living in the constituency base on the hard work and massive development he has been able to lobby for his constituency within the shortest time he has been in office.

In a working visit to the Akan Constituency over the weekend, Hon. Ofori said he was happy for the second term and honour being done him by the residents of his constituency, promising to deliver on his campaign messages and to boost the socio economic development of the area.

Hon. Ofori said the Akan constituency is currently gearing for massive development.

The paper spoke to some top traditional leaders living in some of the villages who made it clear that it was their heart desire to see their hero being maintained as their MP for the second term.

In spite of all the series of positive testimonies given at the constituency about the Member of Parliament, Hon. Ofori said when he was assuming office as the MP for the area, he actually promised his constituency that he will step into parliament and dig the necessary structures and development that the constituency needs to improve.

?I have always loved to be a Member Of Parliament because it is in my nature to help people solve their burdens,? he said.

Hon. Ofori said, so far some of the development that has taken place for the past 4 years includes a supply of computers and giant printers that was given to the Kadjebi District Court And Police Command.

Some health facilities that were left unattended to for some years now have been given a comprehensive facelift, with a mega size stand-by generators to facilitate their continues use with or without light.

Some of the youth who were into agriculture also received agriculture equipment like, knapsacks, water pumps, etcetera and cutlasses to facilitate their work as a source of motivation to promote agriculture in the constituency.

Hon. Ofori said he will do all he can to develop the constituency with the help of some NGOs and philanthropists.
