Airtel Ghana Signs MOU With Sahel Sarah Bank

Airtel Ghana Ltd, a leading Telecommunications Company has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sahel Sahara Bank,as a means of enhancing their business potentials.

More so, the agreement is said to bring convenience, accessibility and speed in the creation and provision of business solutions, in order to ensure the growth of the clientele base and as well improve upon revenue streams and provide comfort and opportunities for the employees of each party among other great benefits.

According to the MD of Airtel Ghana, Lucy Quist, said under the terms of the MOU, Airtel Ghana and Sahara Bank also plan to explore the development of innovative financial services focused both on serving the employees and Airtel Ghana’s varied stakeholders ad well as partnerships in its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

“Under the terms of the MoU, the parties are to provide banking and financial services with the aid of the Airtel mobile money platform with services such as money transfers, utility bill payments, airtime recharge, cardless ATM transactions and making general payments in relation to ticketing, fuel purchases and retail purchase” she explained.

Adding that, both parties are fully committed to supporting each other through this innovation and partnership.”The agreement signed would accelerate the writing of this exciting new chapter in new in the story of both companies”.

Employees of Airtel shall have access to retail services of Sahara Bank such Current and Investment account needs, personal loans, auto loans send salary rent advances. And pre-financing arrangement support for the acquisition of mobile phone, tablets, and other electronic devices to staff and clients of both Airtel Ghana and Sahel Sahara and the general public.
