Adwoa Safo storms Taifa

Taifa and its environs in the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday morning came to a standstill when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Dome-Kwabenya, Lawyer Sarah Adwoa Safo in the company of a large entourage hit the Christ Apostolic Church Polling centre in the area to take part in the on-going national biometric voter registration exercise.

Also among the entourage was her father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, Founder and General Overseer of the Kristo Asafo  Christ Reformed Church.

Ms Safo after going through the registration formalities used the opportunity to distribute snacks to all the registration officers and political parties’ representatives, including those who came to the center to register.

Ms Safo also enjoined eligible voters in the constituency to fully participate in the on-going national biometric voter registration exercise.

To all people, I ask that if you are 18 years or above to make sure you register.

According to the parliamentary aspirant, voting is a responsibility of all citizens, stressing for all to register and vote for her in the December 7 parliamentary polls.

Ms. Safo who was full of hope that she would retain the Dome-Kwabenya seat for the NPP further  assured that she will soon criss-cross the constituency to sell  her good message.

She stated that plans are underway to begin touring the constituency immediately to strengthen the NPP structures to make her viable to win the parliamentary seat of the party.

She urged the national executives of the party to take immediate steps to hit the ground running by ensuring that the party’s message gets to the grassroots in order to ensure a sound, effective and successful campaign for the December 7 polls.

The young legal practitioner stressed the need for executives of the NPP to live above reproach and take steps to ensure that all petty squabbles within the rank and file of the party are resolved with immediate effect.

“Let the grassroots have the confidence, belief and hope that their views and contributions are welcome in the party. Let them to be involved in the activities of the party and do not take decisions that will not be in their interest,” she advised.
