The Managing Director of Activa International Insurance Company, Mr. Stephen Kyerematen, has stated that his company has opened its arms to genuine friendship and long-lasting collaboration with the Liberian Insurance industry.

The Activa boss said this when he officially launched the Activa International Insurance Company in Liberia in October this year.
Presenting the company?s mission statement at the launch, Mr. Kyerematen announced Activa?s specialty in the areas of short-term insurance, underwriting of large corporate risks, industrial and contractor risks, and motor fleet and marine cargo insurance among others.

?While in Liberia, Activa clients will enjoy the same Globus network standards of professionalism, efficiency and trust enjoyed across Africa,? Mr. Kyerematen assured its Liberia clients.

An elated Group Chairman of Activa International Insurance, Mr. Nzonlie Lowe Richard, expressed his joy that Activa was granted licence to operate in Liberia.

?The opportunity to be granted an operational licence in Liberia is one of the proudest moments in our existence,? he added.

The Central Bank of Liberia licenced Activa International Insurance Company in May, 2013 to begin operations in Liberia.

In his address, Mr. John Davies, President of the Liberia Bank for Development and Investment, said the coming of Activa to Liberia is a clear indication that the country is safe for trade.

?I strongly believe that the coming of Activa here is a way of taking insurance to another level. And I am confident that its presence will yield more dividends to the people of Liberia in the insurance sector,? he added.
